Neo 4 Tone Lucky Clover Green Review

CLICK HERE TO SEE A VIDEO OF ME WEARING THESE LENS ON YOUTUBE!

Usage Modality:  One Year Disposable
BC:  8.6 mm
DIA:  14.2 mm
Water content:  45%

Here are my new Neo Lucky Clover Green circle lens! It was so difficult to find pics of people wearing them, and not a lot of people of my skin tone have done a review of them, so heres my own! They are my first pair of green contacts. My eyes are naturally dark brown, almost black.

They look realllllly pretty in natural light, but on my dark eyes in other lighting situations, they don’t look as real as I want.

I know they tried to give off the effect of naturally colored eyes by making the blue and green blend and have little lines in them, but up close, they almost look like stripes. Heres some more natural light photos:

(See here at the bottom photo, I feel like the lines of green and blue are too noticeable).

Its really noticeable when the flash is on.

They are not all that comfortable to me. I can still feel them in one of my eyes when I wear them. They enlarge very very slightly.

The photo on honeycolor.com is a little misleading. Here is the photo of the lens they provided:

As you can see, the colors blend in so seamlessly. I don’t think its because my eyes are darker than the model’s eyes.

Right eye, no contacts. Flash and no flash.

Natural light, eyes and as a whole.

When I look at myself in indoor lighting (such as the bathroom), they don’t look real at all. Its just too green looking, I feel like a robot lol. As I said before, they’re really pretty in natural light but not as comfortable as I hoped. I get more used to them after about 45min. They were pretty tricky to get in my eyes. I don’t really think I’d recommend them to a friend, plus on regular pricing, they are $34 -.- . I personally think that is too much for circle lens. Overall, I DO like them, but I’m not 100% in love. I feel like I might slowly start to love them over time.

Worth Buying?: No, I’m sure there are other more natural looking green circle lens than these! In natural light, they look really nice and the lines at a little depth to it, however they don’t look that natural anywhere else. If you’re going to an indoor party or something and want naturally green eyes, I wouldn’t recommend these. On a day you spend a lot of time outside, they’d look nice! If you have light eyes, I think they’d look really cool.

EOS Max Pure Brown Circle Lens Review

CLICK HERE TO SEE A VIDEO OF ME WEARING THEM (plus measurements, etc)

These were my first pair of circle lens. I wanted my dark brown eyes to look bigger, but I didn’t want any crazy colors. I wanted something natural that wouldn’t make people stare at me. EOS Max Pure brown was perfect. They were pretty comfortable. Most of the time, I can’t even feel them! The light brown ring makes my eyes look brighter. My eyes also looked bigger without looking like I had overly large eyes. I love these! These last one year by the way, so if you buy them, be sure to remember what month you purchased them in!

Maybelline Mega Plush Volume Express Mascara Review

So like many, the idea of plush looking eyelashes was very tempting, so I decided to go out and purchase this mascara from my local drugstore. Unfortunately, I was not as amazed as this as I thought it would be. My lashes didn’t look lengthened or voluminousness. I have medium short lashes so I didn’t expect any magic to occur, I just thought maybe this would be good as their Flasies Mascara. The brush seems so fragile, I felt like if I was in hurry while putting the brush back into the tube, it would’ve snapped! One thing that was good about this mascara is that it doesn’t clump at all! My lashes were soft and not flakey at all. This just wasn’t the mascara for me, but I do feel like it would be nice for people who already have long lashes.

Forever21 Pink Perfume

I ordered this online as soon as I was it on the Forever21 website. I was really worried about it fading fast or smelling terrible. Turns out I had nothing to worry about. Its a blend of “red and pink currant, coconut water and other mesmerizing scents”, as listed on forever21.com. The red currant really stands out in the blend. For some reason, it reminds me of cupcakes. Its a really sweet and flirty scent and I would only suggest that it be worn in the day time. It makes me feel younger since it smells so sweet and innocent. Whats really surprising about this fragrance is how long it lasts! Most fragrances at this cost ($12.80) tend to fade almost immediately, but this lasts practically all day!

e.l.f. Studio Cream Eyeliner in Black

Look at the types of lines you can create in one stroke!

Nothing on my eye but the e.l.f. Studio Cream Eyeliner in Black

It has been years since I first used cream/gel eyeliner. I remember I started with cream/gel because I found it to be the easier to control when I was a beginner with make up. I was so happy when I saw that e.l.f had a cream eyeliner! I have to say I’m very impressed with this eyeliner. I thought it would smudge and fade because of how inexpensive the eyeliner is, but it doesn’t! No smearing or fading at all through the whole day! I love how smooth with goes on, and the fact that it comes with a nice angled brush is a huge plus. The other cream eyeliner I used to use came with with a rounded brush and I was thinking “How am I supposed to make a cat eye with this?”. This angled brush makes that process so simple and quick. Since the brush is so skinny and flat, you can easily glide across the upper eyelid without creating cat eyes. I love this eyeliner and I would definitely recommend this to beginners who want to move onto liquid eyeliner but are too afraid to. Cream/gel eyeliner is perfect because you get the control of a pencil eyeliner and the boldness of liquid eyeliner.

e.l.f. Mineral Foundation Brush

This is my first foundation brush that isn’t fluffy. I decided to give it a shot since I usually apply my liquid foundation with my fingers, but I hear that some people get better coverage with a brush. I was doubtful at first, but now I love it! I love e.l.f brushes. I can’t picture myself NOT using this brush in the future. The handle is very sturdy (other brushes I’ve owned have fallen apart) and the perfect length. The bristles are soft but firm. When putting on your liquid foundation with this brush, you’ll feel like you’re literally painting your face. Its not streaky at all because of how soft the bristles are (if your make up looks streaky, clean your brush!) and lets you give yourself even coverage all around.Your make up will go on smooth without any mess on your finger tips. Whats even better about this brush is that it only costs $5!

e.l.f. Essential Cover Everything Concealer in Medium

Here are some photos I took of e.l.f. Essential Cover Everything Concealer in Medium.

See how creamy it is? You can see my fingerprint!

I was on the e.l.f website and noticed that they came out with a new concealer! I was so exited and I new I had to get it. This concealer is a steal for $2! It’s super creamy and easy to blend with your fingers. It comes a good sized circle compact and it will definitely last a while. It’s perfect for covering up small imperfections such as discoloration in the skin. It also works well for under eye dark circle, however it does set into wrinkles a little bit. I was a little disappointed that e.l.f only provides 4 shades for this product. This product did not cause me to break out, nor did it dry my skin up! It goes on smooth and stays smooth. Its a bit on the shiny side but that problem can be easily fixed by setting it with powder. This shade was a little too light for me, but once set with powder, it blended in right away. I would recommend to put this on flat spots such as post acne marks rather than a warm raised pink pimple.
